Connecting Workfeed with Resos lets you plan staff rotas around the bookings you actually have. Your Resos table reservations sync into Workfeed automatically, so every schedule reflects expected guest volume instead of guesswork, and you stop over- or under-staffing your services.

What is Workfeed?

Workfeed is employee-scheduling and shift-planning software built for restaurants, cafés and bars. It brings staff rotas, shift swaps, time tracking, labour-cost reporting and team communication into one app, so managers spend less time building the schedule and more time on the floor. Assigning people to open shifts is fast: match staff to shifts by availability, hours and skills, and let the team swap shifts without the back-and-forth.

How does Workfeed work with Resos?

The integration is a one-way sync from Resos to Workfeed. Every few minutes Workfeed pulls your upcoming Resos bookings, including the time and duration of each reservation, the guest’s name, and any notes, and shows them directly in the schedule view.

Managers get a daily guest count and can open any day to see bookings hour by hour, with the busy periods highlighted. That makes it easy to:

  • Roster more staff for fully-booked services and fewer for quiet ones.
  • See peak moments coming and plan prep and breaks around them.
  • Keep Resos as the single source of truth for reservations while Workfeed runs the rota.

What are the benefits of the Workfeed integration?

Easy setup

  1. In Workfeed, go to Settings → Integrations and open the Booking & Communication section.
  2. Click Begin integration next to Resos.
  3. In Resos, generate an API key under Settings & add-ons → Integrations → API.
  4. Paste the key into Workfeed and switch on booking visibility with the eye icon in the schedule view.

Common questions

Does the Workfeed integration cost anything from Resos?

The integration itself is free. It uses Resos API access, which is a paid add-on available on any paid plan. Workfeed is billed separately by Workfeed.

What booking data does Workfeed receive?

Each reservation’s date, time and duration, the guest’s name, and any booking notes. The sync is one-way (Resos to Workfeed) and refreshes automatically every few minutes.

Does Workfeed change my bookings in Resos?

No. The integration is read-only for bookings, so Resos stays the single source of truth. Workfeed only displays your reservations to help you schedule staff.
