Accepting and managing bookings without table management

Accept and manage bookings in the way that suits you the most. Keep your everyday life simpler by offering online booking that you accept or reject yourself.

Do you want to accept your reservations manually instead of confirming reservations automatically? Through resOS, you can accept and manage bookings manually if you wish. This can be an advantage for those who want full control and an overview of all the bookings.

If you want to have full control over your bookings and manage them manually, then you must log in to your resOS profile. Select "Settings" and then select "Bookings". Make sure that you select "Don't use table management".

You will then handle your reservations manually and answer whether you have space or not directly.

Choose how you want to receive bookings

You can choose how to receive new bookings by going to "Settings" and "Notifications". You can select one or more notifications.

Booking requests and notifications can be received via email, SMS or through an automated phone call. Then you accept or reject the booking request through your preferred media.

It depends a lot on your routines and everyday life in relation to what you should choose. You may not have a computer / iPad or anything else available during service. In that case, it may not be ideal to receive bookings by email.

Phone call booking request

If you have chosen to be notified of bookings by phone call, you will receive an automatic call from the resOS robot. When you receive a call regarding a booking, you can choose to accept or reject the booking. By pressing 1 you accept the booking. If you press 2, you reject the booking. By pressing 3 you will hear the booking specifications again.

You can also choose to place and even manage the booking online through your resOS profile. You can listen to how the calling robot sounds by going to "Booking". The audio file on the robot's call can be found under "Notifications".

Email

If you like to get notified about new booking request by email, choose this option. This is a good idea if you have a tablet or computer in your restaurant, or if you have a phone where you check your emails. You can easily answer confirm or decline a booking request with a click.

SMS

Choose to get booking requests by SMS, if you like to have the bookings right on the phone in the restaurant. You will get all the information about the booking on the phone. You can easily answer confirm or decline a booking request with a click.
