Having the time to give all of your guests a proper welcome once they arrive at their booking is very valuable. However, this could be difficult if a lot of guests arrives at the same time. Therefore, resOS have made it possible for you to decide the maximum number of bookings you want to allow pr. interval. For instance, if you set the maximum at 5, only 5 bookings can be made at 18.00. If the time interval is set at 30 minutes, the next group of guests will arrive at 18.30. Controlling your maximum restaurant bookings gives you time to greet your guests, which in turn improves the flow.
Maximum restaurant bookings
You set the maximum bookings per interval under Settings -> Opening hours -> Edit opening hour. You can have different settings for different days. For instance, if you have more staff on Wednesdays the maximum number of bookings could be set to 8.
If you want to use this feature, remember that you have to set maximum bookings for every opening hour.
