Are you interested in analyzing how many guests you receive at your establishment for a certain period, how many returning guests you have and how many are flagged? You can find out these statistics using the customers reports provided by resOS and create strategies to improve your guests’ journeys with your establishment based on this data. How to access this? Simply go to the Menu–> Reports –> Customers.
Metrics
Similar to most reports generated on your resOS profile, you can generate the data for your guests based on some general metrics, such as:
▪️Period: Choose the general period of time that you’d like to see the customer data for. The periods that you can choose from are the following: Last month, Past 3 months, Next month, Next 3 months, Last & next month, Past & next 3 months, Month to date, Quarter to date, Year to date, All time, and Custom.
▪️From date-To date: Generate the customer data on a specific custom period by choosing a beginning and end date on the pop-up calendars after clicking on the two specific fields.
Key metrics
The system will generate the following type of data based on the previously chosen metrics ⬆️:
- Created In Period: New customer profiles created in the chosen period.
- Total: The total number of guests.
- Top Customers (With 2+ Bookings): Customers who have booked more than 2 times in the chosen period.
- People Per Booking: The number of guests per booking.
- People Per Booking (Per Week Day): The number of guests per booking per each day of the week.
- Newsletter: If you’ve enabled the add-on MailChimp, you can also see here how many of your guests signed up for your newsletter.
- Flagged: The number of guests that were flagged.
Purpose and benefits
With the customers reports, you can better understand customer behavior, preferences and take care of your returning guests. This data helps your restaurant with the following:
- Keeping track of high spenders and loyal customers and implement loyalty programs, exclusive offers, or personalized messages for fostering loyalty.
- Tailoring marketing strategies through the use of insights on the number of guests per booking and the chosen opening hour and day of the week to book for in order to create targeted promotions and campaigns that resonate with key customer segments.
- Tracking the changes in customer visit frequency and spending over time in order to identify retention trends and address potential concerns for better monitoring customer retention.
