You can connect to our API to build independent integrations with your Resos booking, takeaway, or shop system, and make your day-to-day even easier to manage.

Build integrations with our API

If you want to integrate with us, this can be done using our publicly available API. On this page you can read more about how to get started with an integration, our API, and the API documentation. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need help with integrations or are in need of additional endpoints – we'd be happy to chat about it.

Extendable and continuously updated API

Our API is constantly being updated based on requests from our customers. We are grateful for every feature request we receive, because it helps us develop the system to create the most value for all our restaurants, bars, hotels, and more. If you have a feature request, email us at hi@resos.com and our tech team will be happy to take a look. The end goal is to support every single feature that the regular Resos applications do.

Fast and easy to start integrating with

With our API it's straightforward to start developing integrations that fit the needs and wants of your system and business. Besides being easy to use, the API is optimized for fast responses. Read on to learn how to get started creating integrations with the Resos API.

How to get started and create an integration

  1. Log in to the restaurant.
  2. Go to the dashboard and activate the API integration under the settings section (if it's not already activated).
  3. Navigate to the API in the settings.
  4. Generate a token (it must be encoded in base64 for all requests – more information in the documentation).
  5. Now you can make requests with the token. All API requests must include it as an Authorization header.

API documentation

The API documentation contains the instructions for how to use and integrate with the Resos API. All the example requests can be imported directly into Postman. If you have any questions or need help, feel free to reach out to our support team.
